I have a total love/hate (mainly love!) relationship with bootcamp. Each session pushes you really hard but it’s accessible for everyone as you can scale the workout to suit your fitness ability. I’ve been going to Marie’s sessions for just over a year now and have seen big improvements in not only my fitness and strength levels but also in the reduction of my post-baby wobbly belly! Marie is a great trainer; she works you hard and encourages you to keep going in her own rather unique way that we all love! She has managed to create a friendly and inclusive group where exercise really is fun and sociable ?
Hands down the best Bootcamp/Group class I have ever joined. Yes it’s hard work, but great fun and always varied. Marie just knows how to get the best out of you individually and you really do get results. I LOVE IT!!! It’s not just a great workout – I have genuinely met so many lovely and likeminded people by taking part. Great workouts, great coach, great people, great environment = GREAT BOOTCAMP!! Marie is an excellent coach, always willing to answer questions you have and will describe and demonstrate in great detail. I have been pushed to beyond what I thought were my limits and I’m all the better for it. I have improved a lot whilst being coached by Marie and continue to improve. Highly recommended.
An overweight individual who hadn’t exercised in years; willpower locked and bolted in the cupboard, I genuinely did not know where to turn, believing I was destined for a life of yo-yo dieting and being unfit. Marie is a personal trainer that genuinely cares for her clients. She has pushed me into a world I never thought possible. In the few weeks I have been training, I am already running further than I imagined, doing dead lifts, boxing and of course the dreaded burpees! I have yet to repeat a training session with Marie, which means it is always exciting, challenging and fun. Did I mention challenging!? Marie trains complete novices (me) to professional level; she is flexible with dates and times and is always on the end of phone to provide support guidance and cajoling to do more training!
Marie has the ability to work with clients at all levels, from beginner to pro athlete. She has a true interest in the individual and trains to your needs, not to her own agenda or to a single preferred method. She has an excellent understanding of nutrition and lifestyle, and creates tailored programmes to deliver maximum results. Marie has many years of experience as an athlete, trainer and coach across several disciplines. I can not recommend her highly enough.
Saturday morning bootcamp with Marie, awesome, calories burnt 1760, worth the pain. Amazing instructor, tough love but excellent motivator. Highly recommend it 5*
A true professional, what Marie doesn’t know about exercise and nutrition, isn’t worth knowing! Her workouts are no nonsense and well structured with great variety week on week. A great committed PT who can really deliver results!
If you want to be at your fittest, train to the best of your ability and reach those goals Marie is your PT. Lives and breathes training and is always finding new ways to hone and tone… beware of finding muscles you never knew you had!!
Awesome bootcamp sessions with Marie. Every session is different so loving the variety, even squealed with delight when I saw rope climbs on the board the other morning and using the bar to do pull ups. Marie is a brilliant instructor and works you hard but gives you plenty of motivation along the way. Definitely recommend it.
I know when I go to Marie’s bootcamp I will do more exercise in 45 minutes than I could imagine doing in a week on my own! They’re excellently programmed, hugely rewarding and even fun! Love them!
Excellent bootcamps Marie, great all over body conditioning and they have taken my cardiovascular fitness to a whole new level. With your drive, enthusiasm and swearing I can’t help but improve!!!

Marie takes personal training to another level. After finding I couldn’t push myself any further at the gym and wasn’t seeing much results, Marie listened to my ambitious personal goals and has helped me get some great early results. I am already on my second round of sessions and still very highly motivated. Every session is different and each time a new muscle which I didn’t even realise I had aches. I’ve never felt or been fitter and would never have thought that (at the wrong side of 40) I would get abs definition… Be warned you may become addicted — I know I have.
I have been a regular gym goer for years, but was seeing little/no results and realised I was either super fit (hmmm) or had got into a bit of a “comfortable” routine (cardio always on my favourite machines and weights would be all upper body) so was wondering how to sort this out. So, with a 2 week break at home looming and the thought of sitting in front of the PS3 for hours on end, I decided to book a series of sessions with Marie to “improve” my regular workout. I was hoping for a bit of a change in fitness and weight but was not expecting one as dramatic. The results were quite astonishing In 2 weeks I lost a stone in weight 4% body fat took 7cm off my waist and put 7cm on my legs. For the first few sessions Marie had to almost literally drag me through them, but day by day I began to actually look forward and (almost) enjoy them. In the initial 2 weeks apart from the fitness test days I can honestly say not a single session was repeated, the variety and intensity was incredible and even in that short period…
Quite simply fabulous and highly recommended. Bootcamp is hard, fun, varied and packed with moans and groans — but the end result is a great sense of achievement, feeling that bit fitter and that bit stronger. If you have any physical aches/strains (for me a problem shoulder), Marie will guide you and provide alternative tasks. Her sessions are a blast!
